Psychogeographical Map

For me , My mapping is once in my life I take trip to go to Rajaphat Bannsomdej University
and the way to go the university is pass the Isarapap Road that have something make me realize
and along this road my perception have obstruct by the row house along the road mostly is open to be the salon.
from the crossroad to the university I start to count all the salon the both side. All over that I can count. It have 53 salons Mostly is the same brand that is Ravai salon. u can see this mapping.

You can click it to see the detail. That along the both side obstruct me why it open too much of branch. I realize and from my perception I think this is the way that the owner of the salon want to do. They expand their shop in horizontal. I think that benefit in term of commercial. People can see the shop along the road and interesting like me that I think it better than expand in the vertical line. And when I come to this road I feel like this is the haircut city. I think it feel different with another road.


The way to expand the shop is like a banana tree that grown up by have a new tree beside.
The benefit is another tree cannot grow up that it like the Ravai salon use this way to prohibit another brand to grow up in the city of Ravai. No competition. If one day they some branch but they have another branch to supported user. It like the tree if one day some tree is dead but the tree have another tree to grown up and expand.

Sacred & Profane

This week's lecture is about sacred & profane. What I understand from in class is the both of words sacred & profane. is like have a two side of meaning depend on what u want it mean. It's not too good or too bad. For me, sacred is from what human do for god. but Profane is from what we use what we do for god in another way(wrong way or not I can't say that).


In term of architecture, human build the temple for keep the identity of the sacred when people pass the temple but they not come in side all Thai Buddist must respect to the temple that all they know inside it have a Buddha. So I think not only the temple that all thai respect sometime when human go to another place that not their own place they must respect what they didn't see. such as


the Unoccupied home. They must respect to the house that actually is nothing inside. They believe some scary inside and they believe they must respect to that. But another way I think this one giving a chance of profane. If someone didn't respect and want to prove they come inside and profane. I think profane in another way is not wrong way but in this case ir's like how prove that nothing in there.
Anyway, sacred & profane in term of everything it's still about the religion or believe something that not good way or bad way is depend on perpose. That for me.

Empty Form

Empty Form
For me the empty is like the thing that nothing. I think all of you can hear the tense Everything is nothing. I agree with this. the empty form in term of architecture is like free.
Empty space is the free space. I can see it's flexible space that can be or could be everything for everyone that has change in every time. What ever you want.
For me I think in nowadays the architecture that is empty space is the row house.

In Thailand we can see the row house can be every place. such as house , shop, school , restaurant , hotel or hospital. It could be.
Because of row house is the empty space that can change to every place depend on user but if you see the exterior is exactly the same in every row house.

Nowaday I can see many Thai girl in the cyber world like to upload her photo acting like this that all Thai we called Abbaew. This act some Thai girl believe it’s looking beautiful , cute , young and charming.

The word Abbaew is come from Abnormal + บ้องแบ๊ว (cute) = Abbeaw. That mean abnormal cutie. Not only when her acting for take a photo but right now in her daily life. They have Items to make their always look abbeaw in every degree.

Abbeaw Girls

From the Abbeaw Girls let me think about why they like to do like this ? all the Items can make her look beautiful better. The Items is simulated to make her. Even though is not real but in psychological terms that make the perfection. From my perception I think many girls is perfectionist. They try to reach the thing to complete their life. Jacqueline Mitchelson who is psychologist. He research about the perfectionist. He said “ Mostly Woman is the perfectionist more than a man”

From the perfectionism let me think back to the perfectionism period. In south east asia build many kind of Grand palace and temple. Such as in Cambodia the king try to show the greater level and power to the perfectionism art. So this period have many kind of this palace. The pagoda is simulate to be the heaven. It’s like they believe this is heaven.

The many Architecture in this period is like a Items to take the king complete their life at that time. The Abbeaw Girls too they simulate the Item to take them to complete their life. From the old period and nowadays the king and Abbeaw Girls both of them are the perfectionist but the way they show is different.

I think the perfectionism is like the fulfill life. Human believe in religion to lead them in the lifetime. Human like to have technology to make life easily. Human like to have a complete stunning and then they go the surgery. Human like to have everything to complete their life. And I think everyone is perfectionism because of in this world is nobody perfect.

Techo's Life

Nowaday,Technology become a Life of human. Wifi , 3G , or blah blah blah etc. Technology make human's life easy. I can say that once I forget my cellphone at home and leave to go to outside. I feel like I can't do my normal daily life. I can't connect with my friends. So I think right now people can't live without technology. Especially In term of architecture, since the industrial has changed. Technology develop much better. Architecture form can do in organic form. We use computer software help our to create and make it real by easily. And we use the technique to generate it and build it up.

Another one topic is the junkspace. from my perspective I realize that. Technology can make the order of human life but somehow it can create the junkspace even though we don't want to create it but it become together with technology that we import too. from the department store it become wth the air conditioning and big void is junkspace that we see. We all khow but we need it I think.

Form and I

I'm sorry for this late because last week I'm sick and can't take time in computer.


In the Modernism Period the Architect is concentrate about form and forget the reference or reason of that. So the architecture is simulate the scene of form to be the space. I think it is a good idea to start something without condition.Sometime I don't need the reason to support the design. Just only experience it and try it.It's like the way to perceiving the another perception of idea. But mostly the reason is need to be support in the real.



I = WE from the lecture It's about how visualize of people see ourselves and how I see myself. It mean the way we see ourselves. It's seem like reflection of people as same as a mirror that rebound the fact of ourselves from other see. I like the word I=WE.

This Movie is the silent movie that tell about the large city somewhere in the future.Adheres spatially and socially to a caste system. In this Movie can divide 2 type of human that is on the top is ruler of this highly industrialized city and at the bottom are workers without names, addressed by numbers instead. This movie is represented the difference of human life,the ruler and worker. Everyone is do the way to go to the Modernism according to nowadays. Modernism is become a top style that people think about. I can see from all around my self. I see the furniture, architecture or anything is get influence from the modern. the meterial that we use such as Plastics ,glass, concrete, aluminium and etc. that can represented the modernism. Form of the design that follow function to be the product .
